Not Sure How Your Website’s Doing? I’ll Take a Look

Get a simple, no-jargon health report from someone who sees these issues every day.

Running a business is hard enough — you shouldn’t have to guess whether your website is helping or hurting. I’ll take a look and send you a clear, straightforward summary with useful suggestions you can actually act on.

What I Will Do

I'll review the key public-facing parts of your website and highlight what needs attention

  • Take an outside look at your site’s structure, performance, and messaging
  • Scan for technical issues, outdated software, and basic security concerns
  • Evaluate how your site performs in these seven core areas:
    • Technical Health – loading speed, mobile support, HTTPS, general setup
    • SEO Basics – titles, descriptions, heading structure, crawl visibility
    • Accessibility & Usability – contrast, readability, layout clarity
    • User Experience & Clarity – how intuitive and clear your content is
    • Content & Messaging – tone, consistency, and alignment with your audience
    • Analytics & Marketing Signals – visible tracking, consent tools, opt-ins
    • Security Signals – SSL, public warnings, visible vulnerabilities
  • Summarize it all in a short, practical report with suggested next steps you can use

It’s Especially Helpful For:

  • Website owners unsure if their site is “doing its job”
  • Small businesses who haven’t updated their site in a while
  • Anyone considering a redesign or maintenance service
  • New clients who want a taste of how I work

How It Works

  • 1
You request a checkup — the form takes about a minute
  • 2
I manually review your website within 3 working days
  • 3
You receive a short report by email

Note:

If you're doing this as the first step toward a maintenance plan, tick the checkbox in the form to let me know.

What Happens After

  • You decide what to do with the suggestions — no pressure
  • If you want my help, just reach out
  • If this was for maintenance, I’ll follow up if you checked the box

What’s the Catch?

The short, TL;DR answer: There is none! I'm just paying it forward.

The slightly longer version: It goes back over 30 years, to when I first started teaching myself about computers. Most of what I learned came from others who shared freely. I still remember my early mentors saying, “You can pay us back by sharing what you know with others.” That mindset stuck. And it’s still part of what drives the open source community, even today.

Even now, developers build tools for themselves and share them with others, using each other’s code along the way. And since I can’t afford to click “buy me a coffee” for every developer whose work I benefit from, this is my way of paying it forward.

In the back of my mind, yes — I do hope this report shows something about how I think and work, and that someone might find it useful enough to ask for my help. But that’s just hope. No expectations. You’re free to take the report and do whatever you like with it — no strings attached.

Just give it a shot

You have nothing to lose, possibly only gain.
